ooh, just listened to it. Not great is it? that Mr Goodbar track is OUTSTANDING. Westwood played this a few times, as well as INFORMATION TO RAISE A NATION. No hidden gems in there though.... a bit of a coincidence that I also picked up RENEGADE LP by JESSE WEST t'other day and this LP is produced by the same team TO THE LEFT PRODUCTIONS... the DST & JAZZY JOYCE appearances are red herrings on this RICH NICE LP... they barely register a prescence... zzzzzzzz

^ RENEGADE is probably the main reason for ever owning the LP. Motown's forays into 1990s hip hop weren't too successful, am i wrong?

i particularly remember this track OUTSTANDING cos I liked the GAP BAND tune, but the singer on this was doing an interesting riff (JEFF REDD) that i really liked back then. I think a few artists were venturing back into having singers in the choruses (outside of the new jack swing thing). Reason this particular joint stood out. hasn't aged well, but...
i think he must have played it when he did his new jack swing bit half through the show, when i used to go and make a coffee, whilst studying too (funny enough). westwood wore me donw though and I actually started to like New jack swing. but hey we've been here before....Quote:

hiya, no, the RICH NICE version is replayed and resung by JEFF REDD. It doesn't use samples. I know that BLVD MOSSE joint and it's dope. But yep different cuts.Quote:
