A cheeky little Roots "Dilla Joints" 12" test press bootleg that has just popped up...
(essentially an LP of the Roots playing a bunch of Dilla Intrumentals and breaks that was previously only available as an mp3).

...and having previously been CD-only this is now on official wax as of this year’s RSD.

This maybe my least favourite Roots-related release but not really because of them particularly. Beats are fine and all but it does seem a little overproduced and i’m not sure phoned-in snoop and lil wayne verses could ever add anything to a soul LP?
