Good music is good music, period. Hip-Hop is no different, if you like it, good, happy for ye, keep it up.
I have NO shame about the shit I listen to. Im deep in Frank Sinatra Live at the Sands at the moment, that and Tony Bennetts Beat of my Heart from 57, what !?!
BTW Step, dunno if ye saw him, but Chris Rock opened and closed with Duffle Bag Boy on the last tour I saw him on in London.
Certainly nothing wrong or shameful about Tony Bennett. And Sinatra is one of the finest singers in the history of recorded music! I have somewhere between 20-25 Sinatra records. "In The Wee Small Hours" is one of my top 10 LPs ever, regardless of genre. Never thought about this as something someone would regard as a guilty pleasure though. How can you be a record collector/music lover and not love Sinatra?
i know i shouldn't... but i do
beats like ice cream, rhymes are like sprinkles...
Have to disagree with some vews on 7L & Esoteric as for me they are easily one of the best modern groups going.
A couple of guilty pleasures for me has to be:
Chamillnaire's - Ridin'
The Game
Eminem
Fuckin love 80's Metal.
And this is a joint I can play to death
I've got a Kate Bush 12 - "Running Up That Hill" always liked it, the instrumental version is as good as some of the best electro records from 1985.....
