    Brand Nubian Echo International 12"

    https://www.discogs.com/Brand-Nubian...elease/1103563

What's the deal with this then? Release date says 1999, but it includes Kick Styles, which also appears on the DITC All Love 12" (as I Flip Styles), but I heard that on a mixtape back in '94, so are the other tracks pre-98 material or newer bits that came out before The Foundation LP?

I've just ordered a cheap copy for the aforementioned Kick Styles, but I'm wondering what the rest is about.

I wonder if Play It Cool is the track from 2000? That's 1995.

Dope song produced by Minnesota Money Boss.

interesting. So maybe the 12" is a collection of old looseys from the Everything Is Everything era?
revisited that album recently and although it's not as good as the previous 2 LPs its a solid effort.

Don’t Change is the joint. You can clearly hear that it’s From the 2000 sessions. Great track.
Just got off the phone with Nas.

cool. is Kick Styles identical to I Flip Styles? Not sure if I imagined it but I might've read somewhere it's slightly different.

Play It Cool is slightly different from memory... Kick Styles is Flip Styles, but maybe doesn't have the chorus...

This is an interesting record - as Dave mentioned, 'Play It Cool' has slightly different lyrics from Puba but is otherwise the same track from 2000. 'Kick Styles' (AKA Flip Styles) is missing the chorus and somehow sounds a bit more demo-y. 'Time to Put it On' has the some of the same verses from Very Special (also off 2000) but has a different beat and sounds like it was an earlier track. 'Don't Change' is an RnB collaboration in a similar style to 'Check It Out' - he references '94 in the track and it sounds like it was from then. Hope this helps!
