What would you guys change 6 years on, not just for those that voted first time?

Anything come out that would replace your initial choices, or you think should now feature in the 100?

Anything you think now sounds totally out-dated and should leave the list?

I was always surprised at a few entries on this 100 - but I shall not say which ones, as I don't want beef , and as I think I owned pretty much if not all of them (but probably only 40% on wax).

It's nice to see some of those single LP albums getting re-issued on 2xLP in recent years.

Props to Diseone for putting that list together in the first place.

was it our top 20 we voted for?

reckon id maybe adjust the order but the records would be the same - the additional 30 would change tho i think, have to get some Kendrick in there i reckon

I had Scarface and UGK in my list but they didn’t quite break the top 100.

The lack of West Coast and other regional rap albums is my only gripe really. It’s a solid list with a few I don’t like but that’s democracy.

    Yeah Top 20.

Yeah I think UGK would/should probably get a look in if we did it again... although their albums were all well known at the time and didn't make the cut so maybe not...

The original is a totally solid list, even though I’d say I find it difficult to select a “top 200”, with regards to just Hip Hop albums (not allowing for other genres).

As far as “the 100” is concerned, noted it’s very early to mid-90’s biased.

I’d replace my least favourite 6 in the current list, with these ones.

Tuff Crew - Still Dangerous (1991)
K-Solo – Tell The World My Name (1992)
    Master P – Mama’s Bad Boy (1992)
PUTS – Questions In The Form Of Answer (2000)
Little Brother – The Listening (2003)
Y Society – Travel At Your Own Pace (2007)

I have only recently heard J Rock - Streetwize in full (rather than just the odd track here and there) and Im really impressed by it, I think this would have rated highly in the top 100 if a bunch of us had it back in the days*. I think it might have had a big impact on us at the time.

*im guessing most of us heard this years after its release.
