Nice list, pleased to say I have 95 of these on wax. As someone mentioned earlier, the LOTUG was the most surprising inclusion to me (I don't mind it personally but I know that many do not like it.)

A collection should be more about your individual taste and not about what a lot of people think is essential to own !!!
I hear what you are sayin man, but if you got 100/100 of that list or even 90\100 for that manner, I'd say yer absolutely grasping the importance of the essential albums, AKA on point. Anyone who get's a 100 percent on this definitely on point.

BTW, some of the guys saying I'm ok at 84 because I don't need MC fill in the blank is probably intentionally sleeping on something worthy of at least checking. You don't have to be a huge Jay Z fan to appreciate some top notch premier beats and a young, fresh MC (at that time). You might wanna look at it like if that many people voted for it than obviously it's worth peeping.

Edit: BTW, I never voted for Jay Z, but the point remains.

I'm currently missing about 20 from the list, although have owned at least 90 of them at one point or other. There are a couple that are very much on my wants list, but just waiting for the right quality copy to turn up.

I'd agree - I have all of the LP's that I want - i'm intentionally missing Snoop Dog, Dr Dre, Jay-Z - having sold those as I got utterly sick of them after a while. Not counted how many I actually have but i'm guessing i'm at about 90 or so.

EDIT: - Just counted and I have 94.

Props to Dise for the graft he put in on this.

Yay, we even got a southern album into the list, even if it's the wrong OutKast album.

Really? That's my favourit Outkast LP - not in my top 50 mind you, but my fav of theirs. It's definately the darkest but I think that's why I like it the most - followed by Aquemini. Not really bothered either way about any of their other stuff. They definately have stand out songs for my rather than whole albums that I like.
This is what makes records interesting though - if we all liked the same ones the forum wouldn't be as interesting.

Ha, he certainly was. There are a few like that one, one person picked it quite high up their list and so suddenly you get get a Goats LP in there.
