Found the Wrecks N Effect LP in the depths of the chud section of my record shelves today and gave it a spin.
You could make a $$$$ Random Rap Raer L@@K 12" out of these two if they had released under a different name.
Soulman b/w Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter is the shit
Revisiting a West Coast label Random Rap killer I found last year.
2 Dope sides for cheap as chips. Prefer the b-side that samples the Down by Law Wildstyle Beat and Steve Miller Band but its not on youtube.
The 06' Style - Steppin on Stage b/w Dedicated to all the Critics GIG Records 1989
They also had a couple of ok Hip House efforts one with a video, apparently they might be from Chicago which would fit their house efforts.
Anyone know anything about this group?

i have the later Profile release of Steppin' Into The House which has a couple of other tunes on there, that are more on the hip hop tip
the producer Tim Reid II is definitely west coast based, so not sure on their origin story

Werd, would pick that up if I saw it cheap.
I should record the Dedicated to all the Critics joint and stick on YouTube as its their best song IMO.

The oracle of all things old school Umberto had a post about them and appears they were from Encino California so not Chicago.
