    what about Live Convention 81 & 82?
...they talk about me over cups of tea, I'm Mercury over cups of tea, I'm Mercury over cups of tea...

I decided I didn't think if them as "albums" in the same sense. Essential though, of course.

It was a toughie for me.. but i had to go with either "Radio" and "Rasing Hell" and since I can't vote for both, I had to dig in my brain to the compartment that stored the best memories for an album (at the time of release) and Raising Hell does it for me.
They are all great albums though.

I only have two of these. I generally switch off if the record is from 1987 or earlier..

    Stet for the win.

When painting a ceiling recently I surprised myself that I still knew a decent proportion of the On Fire album lyrics

Not enough to do lead vocals, but I'd make a decent backing vocalist

Btw, isn't Down by law '86?
The first pressing of the LP (with a black label and the OG Jane on it) was 86 but all subsequent pressings were 87...

Damn, hard vote that one...... I went for Raising Hell and Licensed to Ill but all classic LPs.....the Fat boys first two LPs probably deserved a mention in there too and skinny boys weightless (can't rem whether that was in the list but can't be arsed to flick back!)
Marching across this war-torn land, Liberty Grooves is here to bruise the bland...
