Masta Ace 'Slaughtahouse' LP has not aged well...

    Discuss.

I listened to it front to back for the first time in forever recently and was a bit disappointed. Of all Ace's albums this one has aged the least well imo. Might be the skits that drag it out a bit or it could be that noisier 1993 sound that doesnt seem to date particularly well compared to the more soul/funk/jazz influenced stuff from the early/mid 90s.

Saturday Nite Live still knocks though.

One of my favourite albums of all time. Loved it since the release. Ace best effort imo.
Just got off the phone with Nas.

Probably wasn´t necessary but i sold my copy a few years ago when i listened to it again and found out that it doesn´t do much for me. Sounded a bit flat to my ears. Even though there are some jams on it.
Of the two Incorporated albums i like Sittin on Chrome better. Nothing beats Take a Look Around though.
