    Phase 2 RIP

    RIP King Phase 2

One of the most important figures in the history of Hip Hop. He holds mythical status to me.

I'm busy working today but lets make a fitting tribute thread.

    Pics and thoughts to follow.

Legendary Phase 2 RIP painting in Livingston Scotland at the Under Pressure Jam 1994.

My mind is still blown that he came to a provincial New Town in Central Scotland along with Vulcan, Jon One, Sharp, Mode 2 and many others. Know your history.

RIP. Major props for co-publishing the first (proper) book analyzing the Writing subculture. A much needed contribution of great importance, in my opinion.

George from Big Daddy who Phase 2 wrote for did an amazing post that brilliantly summarises his contribution to the culture.

Fellow style originator and collaborator Daze also posted some pics of them being the first to take the Hip Hop culture to Australia along with Velore and Double O of all acts.

Need to crack out the Wax Poetics article he did.
