While both are classics, Run DMC's has the better tracks for me, and I know it was played an awful lot more than Licensed To Ill, on my Ghetto Blaster

You can argue the Beasties have the better music and Run DMC have the better voices but the Beasties wins it for me. Makes you want to pull out the other lps from 86, such as Stet On Fire, Just Ice, Mantronix and 2 Live Crew.

Raising Hell. At the time I had this stoopid 'Beasties is for indie kids who don't appreciate real hip hop' thing going on. I got over it by the time Paul's Boutique came out.

At the time I was having to be pretty selective (pocket money/paper round money), beasties killed it.
