Nah, Ted Lasso is good. Maybe not to everyone's taste but I like it a lot.

Boy George's 1970s: Save Me From Suburbia

On iPlayer. Interesting show about how music and culture in the 70's saved Boy George from a repressed life of suburban boredom and all led up to Culture Club. Takes in Shirley Bassey, Bowie, camp men on TV, the 3 day week, Glam Rock, unemployment, Punk, Malcolm McLaren & Vivienne Westwood's clothes shop, racism on TV, the National Front, Lover's Rock Reggae, Soho at its peak, squatting in London, the New Romantic scene etc.

Makes me glad I'm a late 70's baby who grew up in the 80's.

Saw this a while back and enjoyed it.

Just finished Its A Sin with him out of Years & Years which was v good. Seems mad that the level of ignorance people had towards gays and AIDS is relatively recent ( I remember those "tip of the iceberg" ads on the telly when I was 6-7 yrs old and it was some scary shit), but then you remember how mental people have been acting during the last 12 months and its not really that surprising.

yeah it's in Manny, he's always having film/tv crews asking to use his shop front, that particular street has mad old buildings on it, so it must fit the bill. it's defo a nice little earner for him.

some of the Marvel films have been filmed around that part of town too

I saw Mark Lamarr in Clampdown once digging through all the 7"s. Couldn't get a proper glimpse of what he was buying and was too shook to ask.

He had a couple of big bags of gear from Oi Polloi too.
