Did this ever get released / pressed up?
Did this ever get released / pressed up?
To my knowledge, it didn't.
It was available for pre-order for a couple of weeks, but then the site was dead all of a sudden.
No doubt. Was listening to the Deja-Vu album a week or so ago, really underrated.
Unfortunately this was cancelled, I received this email PQuest back in December.
Hey everyone,
because of some circumstances I will cancel the Crusaders For Real Hip Hop EP and also close the Cha-Ching Records shop I created, one reason is that I realized that Tony D´s unreleased recordings should get released on a much more professional and higher level. I´m from Germany, I not grew up with the Trenton Hip Hop artists or met them personally so I realized I don´t have the background or can fulfill such a mission like releasing his music on that "higher level", I´m only a listener that discovered a couple of years ago that He recorded way more then I expected. As a fan I thought I could gain speed to release it that people can listen to those lost gems but Tony D deserves much better release announcements with more courtesy, recognition, Info about his life and his unreleased recordings. I still hope that all Tony D´s unreleased recordings will get released one day maybe along with a documentary about him, one of the greatest Hip Hop producer who should be recognized like DJ Premier, Nick Wiz, Pete Rock and other famous Hip Hop producers.
I apologize that I created wrong hopes and I will refund all pre-orders asap.
I would still like to thank everyone who supported the release with Info, posts, reviews and pre-orders!!!
Peace
PQuest
Thanks for the info djmorgan16.
I wonder what really happened..
I wonder if someone else can put it out ?
beats like ice cream, rhymes are like sprinkles...
The Trenton massive probably threatened to come over and stomp his ass!
Maybe he doesn’t own the rights?
Would really like like a vinyl release, can anyone step in & take control?
