    Expedit / Kallax question

as this forum has more people that know about shelving units than any other forum does anyone know if putting a 2 x 2 kallax on top of other one (both full of vinyl obviously) is likely to cause any problems?

Can they handle the whole weight?

Would be fine but I would attach them together.

thanks Bob. do they come with brackets? thinking I might attach them to the wall rather than to each if the skirting boards allow it.

no problem stacking them... I've got a 4x4 with a 4x2 on the top, no wall fixings.

Fortunately ive got a few weeks until i have to hand the keys in on my current place so can do it a few boxes at a time rather than all in one day. Its too fucking hot to take the whole lot down 3 flights of stairs!

It's a good time to clear some chaff from the collection as well.

Something very satisfying about setting up a new record room.
