Cosmos x 2 stores for expensive Raer in Toronto.

Play De Record on Spadina Toronto.

There are usually free summer concerts and awesome Roller Coasters at Canada's Wonderland.

Montreal has loads of good record shops I hear.

I find this website is pretty comprehensive with all record stores:

Kops in Toronto is good if you have time.

    ^^ This.
I had a pretty decent haul from the Cosmos dollar bins on Queen Street along with a couple other higher priced bits. Friendly staff and good selection. Didn't have time to get into any other record shops while I was there unfortunately.

I live in Toronto. The guys above me gave you some pretty good recommendations (Cosmos, Play De Record, Kops). Another one to add would be Sonic Boom (which is walking distance south of Play De Record)....bypass their new racks, and go to the back where there are 2nd-hand bins with some good finds now and then
