    Skinnyman interview

I've always been interested by what went on at Low Life records, skinnyman breaks it down a little further.

I'm sure you'd have torn him a new arsehole RD.

Interesting interview and refreshing to see an artist who obviously hasn’t had the financial remuneration they are due through no fault of their own and are not bitter about it at all. I just hope that it eventually gets sorted out correctly for him and the rest of the artists who were fucked over on the label.
On a side note it’s interesting to think what the DefJam/Talking Loud label deal might have delivered considering they were working with both Skinnyman and Dizzee Rascal !

Could've been much bigger than he was and obviously he had some bad luck in the industry but getting banged up every few years doesn't help. Ask Black Rob or Beanie Sigel.

Love Skinnyman but he sometimes gets things spectacularly wrong. "The first person who ever recorded a rap on vinyl that was released was Debbie Harry... Rappers Delight which KRS One sampled" He also said Twilight Of The Gods was his 1st track which was 2000 but i think he was mixin it up with the London Convention track which was also with Rodney P but was '97. Also shocking that he hasn't earned a penny from Council Estate Of Mind, i really hope he gets that sorted out as it sounds like he could be due a lot of money!
