It was not a complain it was a sort of question, how do they choose what release get some introduction.
I confess that I bought them without knowing anything about them (EQ or The Basement).
It was a good surprise to see liners notes with my first order, not many label do this.

Easy answer, I didn't have time to do liner notes for the others, simple as that... there's a lot written about E.Q. online by some very knowledgeable Vancouver heads so I recommend taking a look at that... it would have been nice to get Markis to put together some liner notes for the Basement but it is what it is... I have no issue with you asking the question though.

Out of curiousity... why do the Baritone Tiplove 45's have two X's and are Made in Jamaica and Kingston, Jamaica crossed out?

I don't mind it at all, but I was wondering if there's a reason for it.

    I wondered this too.

The font used reminds me exactly of the one used for the New Wave label out of N.Y.

As I havn´t listened to Baritones "Old School Jam" yet and dont´t know when it was recorded, I can only guess that maybe Rita Janes instrumental to "3 Mc´s" was used in the mix?!

Simple question and simple answer, no problem.
Will check online what I can find.

Edit : Don't want to sound like an upsetter (lol) but as a Reggae and Jamaican culture fan I'm curious about the jamaican thing too on the Baritone 7".

Guess I should have known that, but didn't make the connection right away.
