I might be a bit slow off the mark here but I only just discovered that Dr. Revolt did the cover art for Camp Lo's 'Uptown Saturday Night'... not exactly a secret it would seem but I never bothered to look before... I have a Revolt original painting somewhere (that's been waiting to be framed for about 10 years) which made this slightly more interesting for me... as you were...

The Pharcyde were back up dancers on In Living Colour, and performed in Jim Carrey's Vanilla Ice skit

That records can be shipped to Scotland from Japan in three days. Wasn't expecting that. I don't mind paying the Discogs VAT charge for that. The last time I purchased from Japan it took the guy about a month to look out the record and another two weeks for it to arrive.

One of the dudes from Mad Kap was in the group Colored Section.
I liked the Mad Kap album a lot, never heard of Colored Section, just checked some of their stuff and I'm not really feeling it.

Bomb MC was the only Colored Section track that made a dent as far as I know. Recently sold my 12" but always liked the concept of the song

That Hugh Laurie presented a 1986 documentary about Morgan Khan.

Unsurprising that Khan was a Tory cunt. The O.G Sajid Javid if you will.

Amusing that the DJ Steve Walsh looks like an adult version of Thurman Merman from Bad Santa.
