Obviously the first 2 are held in high regard by most people.

What are we saying about the 3rd one? 3-4 year gap between albums wasn't a huge deal at the time but things had changed a lot. They seem a bit detached from the rest of the Native Tongues crew at this point. I remember 40 Below Trooper getting a bit of play but not much else.

I like it's weirdness, they were dropping acid and you can tell.

I bought it at the time and then someone nicked it off me. Someone must have also been digging it because most of the homies thought it was a terd. Not sure if I have a copy, should go to the garage and check.

Check the Crazy Wisdom Masters 10" on Black Hoodz for what they originally submitted. Bill Laswell production was a brave move but wasn't long before Ant Pop Consortium etc started doing the same kind of thing with moderate success.

Personally it didn’t appeal to me much at all, I really was hoping on SOTJ 2 based around that raw production sound.

I think they'd have sounded good over that 92/93 Soul Assassins type production.

I bought J Beez With The Remedy at time of release and loved most of the album.
I took a punt buying the album as I didnt like 40 Below Trooper which was the single/video I heard but I had a feeling there would be some good shit on the album and ther was:

Book Of Rhyme Pages
All I Think About Is You

Being my three favourites.
