sad news. Hopefully the boxes of dope DATs and CDRs he must be in possession of don't go to waste.

he definitely had the knack of bringing some extra hype to a track on his tapes.

^^ That's very true. Ghostface's Holla debuted on a Kay Slay mixtape and and the album version sounds incomplete without Slay bellowing "ONLY GHOSTFACE COULDA DONE THIS, YO!" on it.

I also can't listen to The Message without hearing/seeing Dez and Kase2 rapping it to each other on the rickety platform in Style Wars.

Legend in two separate lanes in two separate eras. Not bad going that.

    R.I.P.

Wrote a quick tribute post and included some of my favourite exclusive joints from his otherwise ridiculous compilation albums.

Love that pic of him in the transitional period between Dez and Kay Slay. Wish he'd have been featured more in Style Writing From The Underground.

I loved how he entered tha Graff World again some years ago just doing what he did back then. Not even rying to adapt with the times and still as fresh as ever! So sad... farewell LEGEND. He truly was one! RIP
