That would be great, but would it be different to the 12s & the chopped herring releases ?

    • Slave Of New York (DWG)
    • Frontin Ass Ducks (OLU)
    • 8 Million Stories (OLU)
    • Hawaii Feat. Bobbito (OLU)
    • Native Son (CHR)
    • Kick A Dope Verse (Unreleased?)
    • Unstoppable (Unreleased?)
    • Yeah (OLU)

I wonder how much the above labels like it that songs getting repressed?
I heard rumors Hazardous will be re-released soon, I wonder if it will also be on 90s tapes even if I am not after a repress having OGs.

I don‘t see a problem with those represses.
If you own an original pressing you‘re in the best position.
Those represses help a lot of collectors to get these tracks on vinyl without spending a fortune.
I do own the OG presses of the DWG & OLU releases and i don‘t care honestly.
Represses won‘t make OG presses less valuable.
There‘s plenty of examples in many genres.
It would be a different story if the material was handed out exclusively to DWG, OLU etc.

... and that's exactly what I was thinking about when writing my comment. I also don't care about value of OGs cause those ones I won't sell anyhow.

I hope someone finally does do Hazardous and does it properly on double wax... I had all the audio re-mastered and ready to go last year but it just strikes me as a very risky project as it won't be cheap to press and if Select aren't on board (I've really tried with them) they could cause problems... the thought of possibly having to bin them all made me think twice... then a baby (and Covid) came along and all the dads out there know that pressing records then dropped way down the priority list! If 90's Tapes do finally press it up then great as I'm sure they will do a good job of it but there is a very good reason why it hasn't seen the light of day yet and I'll be curious if Select are in any way involved in the licensing of any potential future release.

36 Chambers on a 2LP would be nice enough (more so if it was on black vinyl) but most of the album is available on 12"s if you just want loud pressings.

Would still like Bigger And Deffer on a black vinyl 2LP. Maybe with some extras.
