    the 12"are slammin!! i have doubles if anybody is interested, the difine styles one. they feauterd on some dj premier mixtapes ..I thought they are from nyc indeed....

    Thanks for the info, y'all. I don't know how I got it into my head that they were from Canada, but it seems to be that they're from the Bronx. That "Life's Dangerous" is another ill joint, I used to love that shit. I remember that Bredrens 12" but I don't think I liked it, might've played it once back in the day and never again. Is it worth checking at all?

    Definitely from the Bronx.

    The first press of all three were blue label, the subsequent presses in black and pink.

    Those went though a few different pressings, but the OGs of all three are white and blue and say 1996. The pink and black label pressings came later and some of them even say 1997. There is also a black and white pressings of at least the Northern Exposure with the black on top and white on bottom (i.e. reverse of what is posted here), those say 1996 but came after the blue.
