yes there was a mid 80s COOKIE CREW session. It was certainly pre-FEMALES. A pal of mine at school played it to me once. I asked for a copy but he was the type to tape over everything. Dude had one tape for the radio for 4 years. He used to wipe it with the new show everyweek. What a cheapo. hard times in the 80s.

I have checked and I have exactly no records by the Cookie Crew.

Got "Give It A Rest" by the She Rockers though......that's dope.

bboy parkz:>Both Cookie LP’s are nice listens.

I really like their track ‘pick up on this’ think that’s what its called.

Think I remember having a John Peel session from them back in the days.
I think you may be thinking of GET UP ON THIS by THE SHE ROCKERS. brilliant Electro - tirbute song. They said at the time they made it because they missed hearign stuff like PLANET ROCK & AL:NAAFIYSH and that was their tribute.
Mr Ed..the Cookies did do a track called Pick Up On This, the flip to 'Got To Keep On'....

The She Rockers did 'Get Up On This'...

whilst on the subject I think "Born This Way" was one of the first albums I bought... it was 49p at a local Total garage, some of the Stet project is dope.

"Crews Gone Mad" can be found on this 12" also... (bit easier to find!)
