K9 posse 1st LP is dope - agreed.
Drewhuge:>that first K9 Posse is anything but lame - there's some serious heat on there - 'No Sell Out' especially. Lame definitely describes their second LP though.
I 2nd or 3rd this: th e1st LP is a seriously nice LP... please don't let the stupid cover, the mainstream record label, bobcat, or the fact that eddie murphy's brother is in the crew put you off... even the lead singles AINT NUTHIN TO IT and THIS BEAT IS MILITARY are very very good.
Is No Sellout the last on the LP - that's a good track.

The track 'Somebody's Brother' on the K9 Posse is all about living in your big bro's shadow. Anyway, I'd go so far as to say, there isn't a single wack track on that LP, 'say who, say what' being the nearest. some of the others are stonkers!

I'm surprised people on here didn't realise the Eddie Murphy connection....pretty sure Hip Hop Connection made a big deal of it when the LP dropped. I just recently got the LP.....couple of great tracks for me and one of them is on the b side of the This Beat Is Military 12" (Turn That Down)
