ok so I'm going to be totally ignorant & ask what the hell is a long box?
...they talk about me over cups of tea, I'm Mercury over cups of tea, I'm Mercury over cups of tea...

a CD in a big box to make it stand out on the shelves more... they only did em for a few years in the early 90s if I'm correct?

yep, late 80's to early 90's in the US, before they realised it wasn't cost effective or environmentally friendly. I'm a sucker for these, but already have the Finesse so you can fight over that yourselves. I really need the Funky Technician longbox...

    ^^^^

they used to send back the un-sold stock keith & then they used to put these saw cuts on the edges to signify such. much like on vinyl, when you get a cut corner, etc.

got a few cd's like this from power cuts in manchester for peanuts, including the finesse cd, but minus the long box.

my mate used to toss his long boxes, i always thought they looked pretty fly.
