    Voted 1989-1995 but would say i´m mostly into 1992-1996 !!!

    Voted 79-89 as I grew up with electro but there were a lot of awesome tunes between 89-95.

    One year... Hmmm... I'm not sure I could do that!
    1991 or '92 maybe? All that early DITC stuff would fall into that era.

    Favourite periods for me:

    79-83 (disco rap to use a cliche!)
    85-87 (mid 80s mike Allen type of isht!)
    88-91 (hard fast classic isht)

    UK wise - love it from the early days Junior Gee et al, through to the MOL etc days to 'britcore' (another cliche) type stuff in the early 90s up until around 2003ish (the last stuff I liked was roots man/CON artists etc)

    87 - 92 for me.

    Aka the "golden era" but this has oft been criticised / disputed / dismissed even.

    A close second are the 808 kicks of 86 and up until that time from say, 83.
